2016 – 2017 Season Concert Programs

7 p.m. Thursday, November 10: A Joyful Noise featuring Wyton Marsalis’ Quartet No. 1 from At the Octoroon Balls.

7 p.m. Thursday, February 16: Mendelssohn’s Octet for Strings.  The program will include selections from Mozart’s Divertimento in D, Carl Nielsen’s Wind Quintet, Jessie Mongomery’s String Quartet Strum, and Mendelssohn’s Octet in E-flat for Strings.

7 p.m. Thursday, March 16: Across the Channel featuring William Waltons’ String Quartet in A Minor, Claude Debussy’s Sonata for Flute, Viola and Harp and Andre Caplet’s Conte fantastique for Harp and String Quartet.

A Note About Free Tickets

As a part of SPCO’s mission to make classical music more accessible, a portion of the 250 seats in the Capri Theater are always offered free on a first-come, first-served basis.  Information on free tickets will be announced one month prior to each concert.

The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, now in its 58th season, is widely regarded as one of the finest chamber orchestras in the world.
