In an effort to limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), The SPCO has cancelled all performances through the end of the 2019.20 Season (June 14). This difficult decision was made out of deep care for our community, our staff, our musicians and you, our audience.

Thank you to all who joined us this past year for the SPCO’s Northside Chamber Concert and Start the Music for children and families at Sanctuary Covenant Church.  And a big, heartfelt thank you to everyone at Sanctuary who so graciously welcomed SPCO and Capri staff, musicians, and audiences to your marvelous space. We appreciate you, good neighbors!

Our plans are to restart the series at the Capri in October, but as we all know things are in a state of flux.  Please check back here or thespco.org for updates.

We so look forward to welcoming everyone back for exquisite music performed by extraordinary musicians in the intimate setting of the Capri.

Take good care.

Our Community Partnership with SPCO

The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra firmly believes that building authentic, long-term relationships is vital to the work of serving the community and connecting more people to the transformational music they perform.

Thus, for ten years, this world-renowned orchestra has partnered with the Capri to bring extraordinary classical music concerts and smart, engaging programs designed especially for children and families to North Minneapolis. This treasured partnership has offered both organizations the opportunity to engage new audiences in innovative ways, and to inspire the next generation to appreciate the beauty of classical music.
